Love the Morris guitars – I have a Morris MD520 – solid top, wonderful honeyed colour and sound – a pro musician I know who has played lots of Martins and Gibsons says its one of the best instruments he has ever played – it is the best of 14 Lawsuit guitars I have owned, inc a Solid topped Yamaki, solid topped 3 S Susuki, two Kiso Susukis, a Takehuru, three 70’s Yamahas, a Hokada, . . wonderful, loud, amazing sustain and what I can only describe as colour. But I’d love a Yairi. Am awaiting a Tama . . will let you know.
Hopefully I’m getting my Yairi any day now so I can see how good they are but Morris has been my favourites so far. I agree that they are better than any Suzuki, Yamaha etc, but I’m not sure about the other brands made at the Terada plant, they might be equally good.
