Hi Claes…my name is Tony I live in England & you seem to be the man who knows all about Levin guitars & I wondered if you could help me…I have a very nice Levin which is labelled LS18 but it has the side block inlays…any idea if this is unusual…also it’s dared to 1965
Any information would be much appreciated
Thanks Tony
Hi Tony. I didn’t see this comment until I had already bought your guitar on eBay, I’ve been away on holidays. I believe that the body is from a leftover LS-18 which already had the label inside and then they stuck a LT-18 neck on it in 1965. I haven’t seen one before but I don’t know how rare that makes it, or if it makes it less sought after since it’s a leftover guitar. All the best
